5-HTP

I am just taking one a day, because 2 a day does give me very very vivid dreams. I take one of these about an hour before bed and I feel like I am getting more of a sound sleep, and I am not waking up as often as I was before. My moods have also improved during the day, and I feel like I have been dealing with stress a bunch better with out getting as worked up. The cost is great, and the quality of the product seems to be amazing.

Healthy Origins' 5-HTP capsules are a wonderful supplement to add into a daily routine. It's meant to give a boost of serotonin, which is great when people are depleted from it. I have other medications, so I did run it by my doctor first, as should everyone. Easy to swallow and quite light. As other reviewers mentioned, it would be better to have a child-proof safety lock rather than a regular cap, because the bottle being colorful may be appealing for kids to open it.

This is bottle of 5-HTP supplement made in the USA. It has one ingredient....the 5-HTP from Griffonia simplicifolia plant. I am new to this supplement so I had no expectations. It does upset my stomach a little bit, but many things do. It does make me feel more calm and sleep better. It is recommended that you speak with your health provider before taking any supplement, including this one. I look forward to seeing what this does over time. For now, I am happy with the product.

I like to go the natural route before necessarily going straight to prescribed meds. One should however always do ones own research (from trusted sources) before trying something on ones own.And as the label states, check with ones own dr or trusted pharmacist if one is taking other medications.This product works for me.On a practical note though, I would think putting a childproof cap on this bottle would be prudent for manufacturer as the wording “promotes a calm and relaxed mood” on the front of the bottle may encourage a youngster to think this would be ok to try on their own.

Amazon took down my original review and I have no clue why. These work great, takes the edge off my anxiety.
