I also have peripheral myopathy and have taken Alpha Lipoic Acid for about 4 Years now. I would recommend it to anyone with this condition, it has virtually relieved me of all feet pain when I walk around anywhere. It takes about 15 days to kick in, but from there on, you are pain free. I am so grateful that it was recommended to me, prior to that I was put on steroids, which I hated. Healthy Origins brand is the only one I would use and recommend.
