D-Ribose Powder (Bioenergy®)

just started to use it but helped me to recover after exercise.

I like the company name and that’s about all. First there was no scoop and hard to figure 5 grams without it. I have used d-ribose in the past and it was always just enough sweetness when added to my morning coffee. This has absolutely no taste whatsoever and I question that it is ribose at all. Will be returning it and going back to another brand. Used it once.

Bioenergy d-ribose is sourced from corn and is made in China. When manufacturers claim that their products are made in the USA, all that means is that the product was packaged in the USA. This product caused extreme abdominal bloating and cramping, which only worsened with continued use. I found another d-ribose supplement from a different company that sources their d-ribose from fruits and vegetables excluding corn and is made in Australia. I have been able to tolerate that form of d-ribose without any problems. I listed the name of this company in a previous review, and as a result, Amazon refused to publish my review. BTW this particular review is in no way meant to bash Healthy Origins. Healthy Origins makes quality supplements. In fact I take about half of the supplements they make. This review is just meant to caution people about the bioenergy form of d-ribose, which is a form of d-ribose that many companies offer.

It is non-gmo, and when combined with NADH, CoQ10, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Magnesium malate it creates energy. It is useful in Fibromyalgia, and Lyme disease treatment.
